My husband and I have lived at Highlander Pointe for 5 months and have had enough problems to last a lifetime. Our hot water has stopped working at least 4 times, our power goes out in the middle of the night, and the management office is terrible!

Once our power went out at around 9:00 at night on a Thursday so we called the utilities company and they came out to fix it. The next morning our power was only working in half of our apartment. I called the management office and she told me that it was fixed. When I told her that mine wasn't fixed she said that she would send up maintenance. But they couldn't because I was at work and my dog was in my apartment. I told them that I would go without power for the night and make arrangements to have my dog somewhere else the next day so that they could fix it. Well they never showed up. This was a Friday and apparently maintenance doesn't work on the weekends so I had to go the whole weekend without power in my kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom and I had to make arrangements again for my dog.

Whenever you have a problem the management doesn't do crap about it. I once called the office for 3 hours straight with no answer only to find out that the girl just wasn't answering the phone. When she does answer she tells you she will call you back and then never does. Then when you finally get a hold of her again (which can sometimes take days) she says "oh yeah I wrote it down" like that's supposed to magically fix the problem.

Also, the apartment looked terrible when we moved in. All of the doorknobs had paint on them and so did the carpet. Every single one of our cabinets was painted shut so we had to cut them open with a razor blade. The kitchen was missing a drawer and they replaced it with one that didn't even match the rest of the kitchen. One of the burners on the stove doesn't work and is missing the knob. When we opened our storage in our carport we found holes the size of chihuahuas and a wasps nest inside. And we only have a/c and heat in the living room so during the summer our bedroom is like a sauna and during the winter it's freezing.

Whenever our neighbor showers or flushes there toilet it sounds like it's going to burst through our bathroom wall.

On the weekends all you can hear is loud college students partying until all hours of the night.

This place is terrible!
