This place is absolutely horrible and they do not care about that happens here. I have been a victim of theft numerous times and all their response is sorry. This is suppose to be a gated communinty, if you noitce that have taken the walk in gates down so anyone can walk in at night. And when we moved in we thought there was actually 24 hour surveillance. Only in the front, you do not have any surveillance anywhere on the property. DO NOT BE MISLEAD BY WHAT THEY SAY! IF YOU VALUT YOUR STUFF DO NOT MOVE HERE!

You have been a victim of theft NUMEROUS times? Wow, perhaps someone does not like you. I live at Rocklin Ranch and I have never had a problem. I have great neighbors and none of us have even heard of a theft here. The pedestrian gates were removed because disabled persons could not get through them properly. If you accualy talked to any of the ladies in the office they would have told you that. It gets under my skin when people think that when you live in a nice apartment complex your "stuff" if safe. WAKE UP AND SMELL THE REAL WORLD. Theives don't steal stuff from the getto. They steal stuff from nice neighborhoods. Do yourself a favor and get renters insurance and check your friends.

Clearly you have never been to the ghetto, otherwise you would know what a line of garbage you just layed out. Hello? Its called the ghetto for a reason.
As for the ranch there have been numerous break-ins and several car thefts from the property. Perhaps it is YOU who should WAKE UP AND SMELL THE REAL WORLD.

I would really appreciate if those who give negative reviews could suggest a better complex to live in. My husband and I are are looking for a reasonably priced (under $1300 per month) 2bd apt in the Rocklin/Roseville area. I've looked at numerous reviews and have seen so much negativity in all of them. My question is....where should we go?!

Hi. I work for a great apartment complex in another city in California so I know what I'm talking about. To the person who is asking what apartments to move to, the only thing I can tell you is to check them all out thoroughly and ask the office staff the "right" questions. Due to Fair Housing Laws, which are very strict in our state, the office staff may not be able to answer some of your questions. Please keep in mind that because of this, a future prospect or resident may misconstrue specific wording as dishonesty. I assure you that most (not all) properties are not dishonest, just following policy and cannot stray for each individual resident. Most rating sites like this one will not contain as many positive experiences due to the fact that most people will find whatever means necessary to voice their opinion and complain when they are unhappy. In my experience, the people that are unhappy with their experience usually brought it upon themselves by not following rules or expecting miracles and special treatment. Again, something California law will not allow. Please choose your new home based off of what you need and what you can afford. Understand that in a multi unit complex, there are many lifestyles, many different cultures and people who all have to live in close proximity and be courteous of others. Sometimes, this is ten times more difficult for the office staff to deal with than the tenant. And use common sense when making a choice. Lastly, if you are checking these rating sites for opinions, call the rental office of the property you are interested in. Ask them how many units they have. If they answer 4 units and there are 4 complaints listed here in the same year, you can best bet you will encounter problems. BUT, if the property has say, 400 apartments and there are 4 complaints spread out over the course of a year or two, most likely, the complex is a nice one and is fair and proper to their residents and most are happy. Hope this helps you. To the person who was broken into 4 times, either you have the worst luck or shame on you. You could have asked to transfer units if you were concerned about your safety or you could have taken the proper steps to secure your apartment the best that you can. Lock doors, windows, etc. The apartment complex itself is not responsible for your personal belongings, nor can they guarantee your safety. Your renters insurance, at approximately $13-$20 a month would have covered your belongings.

Maybe you should not leave your CD case where dishonest persons could break in and get it :)

I wasn't complaining about losing my cds, actually I could care less. I was making a point. Are you really trying to pick fights on an apartment rating site?

My apartment was broken into as well.
