I have lived at Rocklin Ranch since Nov 2006. I have lived in 3 complexes in Rocklin over the past 16 years and when I decided to move out of my last complex because of safety and poor maintenance issues, I looked at almost all of the complexes in Rocklin. Rocklin Ranch is probably the nicest complex in town. The grounds and building maintenance is excellent. The response time is usually the same day if you call early enough. Full size washer and dryers, a playground for children, a large, new workout facility. Each year they make a large improvement to the property. They have added a security fence, top of the line workout facility and a clubhouse since I have lived here. When something breaks, it is fixed or replaced.

There is on-site storage units that rent for $25.00 a month and single car garages for $75.00.

Office staff is extremely helpful and has gone out of their way to help my daughter when she was locked out. I have never felt unsafe here and there has never been any theft as far as I know. There are large, park like grounds and the complex is very dog friendly. I live near the large lawn area where owner walk their dogs every day. There are "doggie mess bag" dispensers for residents' use all around the complex.

I don't have a dog but those who do have been respectful of residents.

I do hate the residents who smoke and share their nasty smoke with everyone by doing it outside. How about a smoke-free area with a few buildings for non-smokers' That'd be fantastic!

I like the idea of the security fences, but sometimes they close it so late at night. And there have been a few times where the side gate was left open all night - not exactly safe. I wish they would keep it consistent.
