This apartment complex is ridiculous! TO start off, we were supposed to be in a completely different complex but the person who was supposed to move out of the unit didn't, so they stuck us here instead (when really, they should have forced him out because he gave his 30 days...). When we did the initial view of the apt. the dishwasher was broken and the sliding glass door didn't lock. We asked them to have both things fixed by the day we moved in (6 days later!). When we got there to do walkthrough when we moved in, nothing had been fixed. They promised that by the next day things would be fixed. It took them 5 days to fix the sliding glass door lock (scary because we're on the 1st floor!) and 3 weeks to fix the dishwasher completely. We moved a bunch of stuff into the storage unit on the porch and locked the door, only to find out that they gave us the wrong key! It took them 5 phone calls and 3 weeks to get us a new one. After living there for 6 months, we found out that we were sharing the apt. with a mouse! We called and they promised to take care of the problem. Their version of "taking care of it" was leaving a package of glue traps on our front porch. I called and asked if the apt. had an exterminator or someone to take care of the problem. We were told that the apt. didn't have a mouse problem (but the units next door had 14 mice) so they didn't have an exterminator (despite their signs for the Critter Ridder that supposedly visits every other Weds.). Our newest issue is the 2 cars that remain parked in open spaces for 8 weeks now. We're forced to park far away as are our guests so that 2 cars that never move or are towed can sit there for free. Who knows if the people even live at our complex. We've talked to the office and they've promised to ticket/have them towed...but 2 weeks later, nothing has been done. It's like a recurring theme at this complex. Living downstairs is awful; we can hear everything our neighbor above does. I've saved the worst part for last...the neighbors with the piano! They play as early as 5:30 AM and as late at 1:00 AM. When we talked to the office about the problem we were told that they'd talk to the people but "they are Asian and don't speak good enought English to understand." What a lame excuse for management. Some of the management does live in the complex. I know this because they are the loudest people in the complex and create the most disturbance. Someone even called the cops a few months ago
