Your money goes towards the expensive apartment complex and not towards bright management types because the Meridian management is not good.
Here is a short example: This past summer I took a trip overseas, booked through a travel agency. My plane tix were mailed out through a popular delivery service with delivery confirmation about a week and a half before I was scheduled to leave (i.e., required a signature).
Less than a week before I was to depart, I had not recieved the tickets. Thinking they would be delivered to my mailbox, I called the travel agency. The agency gave me the name of the person who had signed for the package (an employee in the front office).
I had not been notified that the packaged had arrived for me at the front office!!!
So I called the office and asked if any packages had come for me. At first they looked and said no. I told them the packaged had been signed for by so-and-so, and so they kept looking. Finally, they found my package and said I could pick it up.
My work schedule meant I was not availible during office hours to pick up the tixs before I left, so I sent my roomate with a signed letter allowing him to pick up the tixs.
He went to the front office and they told him that nothing had arrived for me.
Near the end of the week, I adjusted my work schedule to go to the office. I went to the office and asked for the package. I told the whole story. The office person spent a good five minutes digging around the office before she found my mis-filed plane tickets.
!!!!!! It shouldn't be that hard to give an apartment renter his freaking mail! Damnit.
