I personally find some of the extremely negative reviews on this side to be pretty much bogus, or made by someone who probably turned their rent in late or did something stupid, didn't read their lease or whatever and then got all pissed off for something that's their own fault. Well, here's an honest review for you. We moved in to the Meridian last June, and we found it to be pretty good. We really liked our floorplan and it was a good price! The grounds are really well kept and most of the staff is nice, except for the new skinny girl... don't know what her name is but she's extremely rude. Anyway, we live in building 31, on the ground floor, We have a 2x2 apartment. The people upstairs always smokes and they throw their cigarettes on the floor of their balcony, which is wooden so the cigarettes always fall through the cracks, and we as non smokers don't really appreciate it, but that has nothing to do with the apartments, that's just who lives above us. Anyway, the real problem is BLACK MOLD. We clean a lot, but it still comes back, no matter what. It is disgusting, and all 3 of us are experiencing all symptoms of black mold toxication. The quality of these apartments are very poor and cheap, the appliances aren't that great, but they'll do, but the sinks and bathtubs are horribly hard to clean and just very poor looking. We have broken our lease and are moving out next week. Because of the poor insulation and everything, the building has black mold... We informed the management and they simply told us to buy some tilex, and that was it. I clean my window sill and all around it every other day and especially in the bathroom but the black mold keeps coming back no matter what we try. We are all sick now from it, and we have to get out of here. It's really a shame. If you'd like to see pictures of the black mold, I'd be more than happy to email them to you.

In response to your claims that the negative feedbacks are bogus! I have lived here for 3 years and NO, they are not bogus! This place is a mess and the cops are out here all the time because someone has had their cars broken into. I personally had my car broke into while I was moving. I told the apartment before I called the police and they did nothing! I was informed that if they responded to everyones concerns, they would be broke and that this was a business! I am not lying when I tell you this. They change managers every year and always loose the polite employee's but seem to keep all the rude ones! The Owner of this and many other properties runs this like a bottom dollar profit report! He doesn't care about what you want our think and I have met him personally when he was doing a walk around to see what he can screw you on next! Every year the place gets worse but the PRICE KEEPS going up! I am moving out of here for the same reasons as above; black mold, it is making everyone sick. I never realized for the last year that it was the mold and not the pollen that kept my family sick all year long! Warning! If you want to be sick and have mold around your windows and bathtub all year round, then this is the place for you! Enjoy!

I had to break my lease also because of cigarette smoke coming in from other apartments...My apartment smelt like Las Vegas somedays...The Manager Susan has Mental Issues...At least Heidi sent letters to the offending tenants about about the cigarette butts on the wood balcony...it is a fire hazard.
