The Winsted offers you a "luxutry" apartment home. Don't be fooled, the crown molding is nice the laundry room is appealing, and the fireplaces are a nice touch, but it's all wool over your eyes.

The apartments are of the new breed of hastily built, pretty exterior apartments where the units have been built for as little money as possible.

The walls are paper thin, and the bulk of the tenants there either aren't aware or don't care. Sound carries from several apartments over.

There are noise regulations, but management's attempts to quell them are feable at best. Rules and Regulations are not enforced. The 10pm noise cut off is a joke for several reasons, mainly because 10pm is too late on weeknights and also because nothing is done to enforce it. Phone calls to the office lead to supposed notes on the door which lead to absolutely no resolution.

My wife and I have been absolutely miserable since moving into our apartment and kick ourselves daily for not going month to month, or signing for a shorter term.

Managment is a joke. As long as they get their money they could care less the activities of the tenants. When you go to them with problems their leasing agents, you get nothing but glazed stares and canned answers like "well I live here and I don't hear any noise". If they would only live in my apartment for a couple of days.

Okay so I've written a book, let me save you the trouble that my wife and I have gone through and say, absolutely DO NOT rent from The Winstead, the are the epitome of "beauty is only skin deep."
