I absolutely love living in this community. The only drawbacks are obviously parking and price. The night manager will enforce parking like crazy florescent stickering your vehicle for towing if it stays for 72 hours. Must be moved every 72 hours. If you have a car that is too large to fit in your garage you have to keep it outside the complex. If your tags are even one month passed registration (Even with a dmv notice in the window). you will get a $100.00 ticket from Roseville PD. (I got one). If your car is not moved outside the complex every 1 or 2 days so you will also get warnings or ticketed from Roseville PD. You cannot block any garage or park in a red zone or they will knock on your door, if you don't answer, they will give you a big florescent sticker that tells you towage is iminent (within a couple of hours). You have to use a razor blade to get this huge sticker off your vehicle.

If you park where you're supposed to you won't get that sticker/tow notice. Park in a red zone anywhere in the state and you'll be ticketed, not just at Carmel. All garage alleyways are red zones as they are considered fire lanes as well. Why can't you park in your garage? They are standard 1 or 2 car garages and big enough to support your vehicle-I see many a SUV and large trucks pull into thier garages daily. If your vehicle is truly too large/long for your garage they WILL give you a parking pass, they did for the unit next to ours. If you have a 1 car garage, then you have your parking pass to park inside the gate. They make you park on the street if you have more than 2 cars to deter people from using the garages as storage units. Vehicles parked for more than 72 hours get ticketed to deter abandonment and the storing of non-operational vehicles.
