It's not that bad...

Yes there are some issues at Coventry Park, but what apartment community doesn't have issues' The parking is very tight, especially if you live in an "inner" building in the middle of the complex. Count on seeing the same cars parked in the same spots by the same people...to get around the "5 day max" you can park in a spot, you will see people switching their cars to save "their" spot. Over the years I've lived here I've noticed that some apartments house surprisingly large families, with multiple (think 4-5) cars. There is a lack of privacy (again, especially if you live in the middle of the complex) because the buildings are situated at angles to eachother, so your bathroom window is looked into by other people's balconies, and your bedroom fills with the smoke from the neighbor across the way as they take their 15th light up break of the evening. If you don't mind having your blinds closed much of the time, it isn't a problem. I do however like the amount of windows - we have windows on 3 sides of our unit which let in a lot of natural light - the window in the bathroom is unique to apartments. Our windows didn't face the setting sun, but I'd imagine it would get hot in the units that do. The kitchens are huge for apartment standards - tons of cabinets and a nice large pantry. The appliances (including the stove) are black, which look really nice if you keep them clean. The full size washer and dryer in every unit are also great. The one bedroom is very large compared to many of the apartments I've lived in, and the balcony storage is another plus. We had occasional ant problems, but no roaches or rodents. Overall, I loved the inside of my apartment - it was just the parking situation that I really had any issues with, which is more of a resident issue (people not taking the responsibility to use their garage for their car versus storage) than a managerial issue. We didn't have any mechanical/administrative problems, and therefore didn't communicate with the office/maintenance staff much, although the few times I needed to pick up a package or when we re-signed our lease they were nice and courteous. We were very happy with how much of our deposit was returned. Overall, this community worked for our situation.
I would recommend this community if you only have one car, or are interested in one of the apartments with a two car garage.

If it was an admin staff don't you think they wouldn't have mentioned the negative things that I did?
We were one of the first to live at the complex, before half of it was even finished, so we had a brand new apartment. That is why we had such a good experience with the inside. I can't say what it is like in a "used" apartment, which is why I said in my situation, it worked.
