So we lived at FTV for over a year and its ok. Be warned though there are a lot of young people and a whole lot of people smoking pot. Pretty much 80% of the complex is dealing pot and 90% smoke it. The managers know about it and dont seem to care. Althought that really didn't bug me, even though our neighbor was kinda a weirdo paranoid dealer, what mostly bothered me was lack of care from the staff. If there is a problem they really don't care to offer a solution. Mostly they just say 'Well thats that. Sorry'. We lived in two different units while there, the first apartment was COMPLETLEY UNACCEPTABLE to live in. Our neighbors were LOUD there was absolutly no signal for anything in that apartment - cell phones, dish network satalite, or wi-fi. It never vented properly and me and my roommate started getting really sick from the mold growing all over the walls, AND the carpets near any of the outter walls were full of mold because water seeped in through them. FINALLY after complaining HEAVILY to management, and threatning a little, they said all they could do was move us to another location, BUT in doing so we had to sign another lease which was rediculous because we werent in the apartment for more than 7 weeks! Not to mention we got billed for so called pet damages when we never had a pet in the apartment. Bottom line is don't expect to get ANY of your deposit money back, they will always come up with a lame excuse to keep it. The kitchens are nice but the carpet is REDICULOUSLY cheap. Ours started coming up in places and went completley flat after 3 months. Everything stains it no matter how hard to try to get it up! And you can be sure that YOU will be that one having to pay for it when you move out because it quote 'Has a 5 year life guarantee'. Yeah right. Not much parking is avalible either. My car was keyed on both sides because my neighbor didn't like the way I parked in my spot!'!'!'! Kinda silly. Also be warned, Staff/Maintenence will enter your apartment whenever they feel like it w/o notice. One day we came home and found our a/c unit had be changed. I felt really violated that they didn't even leave us a note as to what they did or that they had come in on emergency...
