This is an established apartment community for seniors, and is well maintained and managed. I have lived here for over 10 years, and find my neighbors to be very friendly and content. There are many opportunities for senior residents to join their neighbors in activities in the community room, such as exercise programs, video nights, potluck dinners, birthday celebrations, arts & crafts. There is a wonderful garden club where residents grow fresh vegetables for their own personal use or for sharing with others. Maidu Village is very close to shopping, Kaiser hospital, and the Maidu Senior Center and Library. Management has always been very pleasant to me, and have provided many opportunities for residents to interact and make friends. They provide decent, safe, affordable housing for low income seniors who wish to live independently.
