I've lived at Pepperwood twice in two different styles. If I ever moved back, I would definitely choose a two bedroom. The one bedroom is way too small for the price you pay. The two bedroom is a nice, spacious layout. It was not noisy at the complex. Only when I lived in the one bedroom did I ever have problems. The only problems were fixed immediately by the maintenance staff. The area around Pepperwood is NOT rundown. If you mean the 7-11 next door, yeah that's pretty crappy. But you'd be damn hard-pressed to find a real "run-down" area in Roseville. If you think you can, you need to get your head out of your butt. Roseville is a nice place to live.

Anyway about Pepperwood. It was pretty nice, nice apartments. Not too much noise. Assigned parking [which is only a problem when some AHOLE parks in your spot... and it's very easy to get those people towed! :)]

I liked it and am actually considering moving back.

I live in Pepperwood and think that people are talking about the older apts that are next to or behind the 7-11, they are showing their age, but they are slowly being remodeled. The apts on Peidmont are also slowly being remodeled. I thought that those were the apts that people were saying were run down. You're right the 1 bedrooms are rather small, but the layout on the 2 bedrooms is quite nice. I have not been disappointed with this property.
