How can I say this' I was a tenant from 12/2002 to 02/2004 so i was happy to return to a complex I had good memories of. My previous experience included a roadside apartment with too much road noise and nightly ambulance interruptions but I thought I could just get another apartment away from the road. Upon moving in there was a family having a BBQ on the lawn with about 15 people in a place noty meant for BBQing. And there were constant parking issues by one car in particular which much have been the dealer to the tenants next to me who move out eventually. There were car alarms set off at 2am by guys smoking and throwing footballs. And parking was NEVER available. And how could I forget the 6 months of construction (with a $25 gift cert to Target) that started the month after I moved back in. And of course, the mallet pounding on the wall was always scheduled for morning time even if I DID work nights. Workers jumping over my balcony and stealing my power were not addressed and the contractor even had the nerve to tell me I was standing in the way of the property improvement and that I should give him an average difference in power consumption so they could compensate me for the $15 or so...WHAT ABOUT MY PRIVACY!!!! Do I like being woke up in the morning' Do I like someone jumping over the balcony outside my window to steal my power while I lay in bed with my girlfriend' NO. And what did my complaint to management get me' Key marks on my car. I will NEVER...NEVER rent from Galleria or BRE again! This is from a RETURN tenant. Not to mention that they now charge for water and sewer when they didn't before...did they install meters at some time' Skip this complex unless you enjoy misery and an uninterested and unaccomodating staff. And as you can see, I'm still honest with the questions asked.
