OK, there ad was great and floorplan looked ok. Price was decent. Manager was interesting. On our way to look at the available apartment in question, we saw residents hanging out and banging on vehicles, etc as the manager was telling us how quiet it usually is. At that point I already knew that the place wasn't for me but the real clencher was walking into the apartment. It absolutely stank to high heaven. Yes it LOOKED clean and carpet obviously shampooed but it smelled like old refigerator and there is no way you can get rid of that.
