Nice Looking, but worst place I've ever lived

I hated living here, but thought it was just apartment living. Only after moving and living in other apartment communities did I realized what a nightmare this place is.

The staff takes forever to return calls and address issues, if they respond at all! It took 6 months of complaining to get our neighbors out. They were playing loud music until 2 in the morning every night. It finally took another neighbor to complain and finally they even suggested doing something about it. Their staff is also rude and uneducated as far as fair housing laws are concerned. When we moved out we had to file several complaints with the Department of Fair Housing and Employement about how they where charging us aftermoving out, in which they were fined twice even though I have friend that still unfortuantly live there (in the process of finding another place), that have asked them about it and they fully deny it.

The parking is horrible, although, I heard they are finally addressing the issue. Their tow company even towed us illegally! We had to call and complain to the office and have the office manager call the tow company to release our car. It may be a good neighborhood and all, but I live in Citrus Heights now in a worst neighborhood then then Slate Creek, and my car has not gotten broken into where at Slate Creek, I was broken into twice and the office showed no concern. I don't expect them to do anything about catching the guy, but warn people that live there for crying out loud, quit living in denial. Maybe it's just punk kids, but come one!

Lastley, The maintenance guy's don't know what they're doing and take forever doing it. It took 2 month to get a patch done after they made the hole after fixing our shower. Not to mention the look of the patch looked like a preschooler slapped on some white playdough. I could have done better.

I would suggest to anyone thinking about moving there... It looks very nice, clean, and quiet to live at and the staff appears nice and kind, but trust me after you move in, they could care less and the comfort of living is nothing like they portray. RENTERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!
