Bad Management

I lived at Slate Creek for only 4 months before I moved to Citrus Heights and it was the worst 4 months of my life. I had a bad feeling about the place, but needed a place ASAP so I moved in on a month to month. I am very grateful I wasn't stuck in a lease. If I was I probably would have paid to get out of it. I'm not one to try to get people in trouble, but the office staff was always off in lala land. It was like right hand didn't know what left hand was doing. They took over 3 days to every return phone calls. I had maintenance issues from the first day I moved in and still was not fully resolved/fixed after I moved out. They even had the nerves to try to charge me for those problems. In fact, they even tried to charge me for a deep cleaning after I had the place professionally clean my Merry Maids and furnished them a receipt. I had to call fair housing and complain that these were issues that exsisted when I moved in and was never fixed right, and that I furnished a receipt stating that the place was cleaned. It took 5 months, but they finally notified me that they were dropping all charges. Parking was always a nightmare. I always had my covered spot, but I could never have friends over because there was never any parking. There's always some kind of party going on the weekends. Security was always out. I guess it's good because I never noticed any crime or anything, but the parties never stopped. I would assume it's hard to control that many apartments all the time, but that's not really a valid excuess. When I moved in, there was only one office, but a couple of neighbors informed me that they had two offices, one for Slate Creek side and one for Indigo Creek, but the recently closed the Indigo Creek side. Why they did I have no idea, but it probably didn't help the problems. I really would no recomend this place. I've lived in some pretty beat up, old, ghetto apartments and neighborhood before, but this place really takes the cake. k6tKKzmJrmATU2ap682S
