The MOLD in these apartments are an issue...unless you have a "newer" apartment where they've had to rip out the tub and windows to have a "do-over". You even sign a piece of paper at the begining stating that they are NOT responsible for your apartments mold issues because it's your fault your apartment is not ventilated properly...what a joke! I have lived in many apartments and the mold is out of control in the one bedroom i was in. Not to mention the price of them...YIKES!!! I could go down the street to any of the new/newer apartment complexes and pay the same price for upgraded appliances...well, upgraded EVERYTHING...the gym there was a joke and so was the jacuzzi...I don't know what I was thinking staying there for so long, paying what I was paying for nothing but a worn out apartment complex...it is in a nice location, grown up landscaping close to a shopping center, but after a while, i feel that's all I was paying for...convenience. I've given up the grown up landscaping but gained granite countertops, energy efficient appliances, a gym with updated equipment, close to BETTER SHOPPING, a huge spa, condsiderate neighbors, and best of all NO MOLD...oh and I pay a hundred dollars less a month...go figure. Yeah Slate Creek puts on fun activities for its residents, but i figure that's money better spent updating ALL of their apartments...god knows they make plenty of it off of their residents.
