There's Ups and Downs...

Well I've spent a large portion of my residence life in these apartments, and yeah, there's been ups and downs.

The whole place used to be owned by a gal named Dotty (mentioned below). HOWEVER, I definitely care to disagree with the below-mentioned opinion. Dotty was a very attentive and caring manager who was willing to work with my family when we had issues, and made sure to perform maintenance in an orderly fashion. Then, recently Dotty sold to a big venture capital group.

With that, we got some pretty ------ new management that became an ass about parking (Only one assigned parking spot per apartment, regardless of how many rooms in your unit). That was a few months ago though, and they have since let up. I think it just took a while for them to get settled in and get a feel for things, and so now they've been pretty fair about keeping the place orderly, and making sure all of our maintenance needs are taken care of effectively.

The complex itself has been going through bunches of renovation with the new owners, so that's kind of nice (even though they picked olive green for the new exterior paint GAH)... There's a basic pool and hot tub, and technically there's a tennis court too - I wouldn't touch the net tho, it might crumble. The PLUS side of the complex - the apartments themselves are VERY big. That's what matters to ME the most, is having a spacious home. I wouldn't use all the other excessive amenities that you may find at newer complexes - so you really trade larger apartments for fewer amenities. Overall, if you're worried about having the newest coolest pad with all the trimmings, then this isn't the place. But if you'd like to have an awesomely-sized apartment, then I would definitely recommend the complex.
