I have lived here for a year. The complex has changed ownership but aside from the upgraded landscaping there has been little improvement. The office staff here has a real problem with treating residence like inmates. They are VERY fast to notify you of late charges or any money owed to them, yet they seem to brush off security and other grounds complaints. The office staff is almost too friendly, but you are forgotten about the second you walk out of the office. The maininance staff here is awesome however.. they are the ones to talk to if you have a concern or need something done.. The girls in the office dont really seem to care about anything. I would honestly feel more at home living in a nice hotel, there is a real cold attitude toward residence here and I am not the only resident who feels this way. If you do plan on living here be sure to ask to see the ENTIRE property, you will be amazed at how nice and clean the street facing buildings are.. yet the buildings deeper within the complex that are not home to the model apartments are latent with muddy driveways from neighboring construction and dirty corridors that have not seen a broom in 8 months! On the good side, 95% of the people living here are really nice and neat, noise levels are ok and the apartments are very nice and roomy. The pool(only 4' deep, but thats Placer county for you) and hot tub are very nice and are never overcrowded. The parking lot is well lit, the concerns of break ins are real but I think as the area grows this wont be such a big beacon for car prowlers since it wont be so out in the middle of nowhere like it used to be. Short version, if they would cut the corporate attitude in the office out and enhance security a bit, this would be a great place and the price would be justified.
