I have lived in a number of places and some have had excellent personable service. This complex tries very hard to make the place a nice place to live and accomedate everyone. Course you can?t please everyone no matter how hard you try.

This complex rates high in arranging events for residents to participate in whether it?s an event that involves kids at Christmas or one geared toward adults like Cinco De Mayo, they spend money to have food, drinks, and decor all in line with the event. They have put together some yoga classes that they pay for since the residents expressed interest. They have paid for it even when it didn?t get off the ground right away. They continue to offer it free to residents even though the Yoga Instructor is brought up from the Bay Area for the classes. The staff here is friendly, but very busy so I understand when things get a little hectic or someone overlooks something. No one is perfect.

The grounds are kept very nice and the new management went out of their way to upgrade the place by putting in hundreds more shrubs and trees. The walkways are washed down by the grounds people at least monthly and the pool area and clubhouse are always presentable and kept in good working order.

The only downside for me living here is the ventlelation system brings smoke from the downstairs apartment into my bedroom and my clothes in my walkin closet smell like cigarette smoke. I have had to tape off the vents in my room and just do without heat or air conditioning in my bedroom. The other negative is that the management should have given me a phone call as a courtesy to let me know my rent check didn?t clear one month due to a bank error rather than placing an eviction notice on my door with no explaination. That was rude and definately didn?t give me a warm fuzzy about the sense of community they are trying to promote. I explained my frustration with the way that was handled and I received an apology. I had another issue come up and the owner/manager called me personally to discuss my questions and that was very nice.

I have had more good experiences than bad here so I recommend the place if you like a more upscale apartment and don?t mind paying a little more for that. The apartments are laid out very well, their spacous, well designed, and have ten foot cielings with crown molding. They are more of a luxury complex since they also have free use of computers, offices, and conference room in addition to garages. Overall my year and a half here has been positive.
