Future renters beware!! Stay away from Villages of the Galleria. Oh, sure it looks nice on your tour through the grounds, but there's a nice stinky present for you when you actually move in. If you have two cars, don't get a one bedroom. I wish management told us that before we moved in. In fact, there were a whole lot of things they "forgot" to tell us. The parking situation is unbearable. Imagine coming home from work, your wife is already parked in your only reserved spot, so you have to go hunting for a spot. Well, good luck. There are only a few open spots in the whole place, and go they fast. If you can't park in your own apartment, well you sure can't park on the street, and you can't park anywhere within walking distance either. A few times I had my wife pick me up at Wal-Mart where I parked overnight. My family came to visit, we woke up the next morning to find that their car got towed. I've had my own car get towed while parking in guest parking (which is open for anyone). Even if you do find an open guest parking spot, you'll get a nasty letter from management on your windshield saying they will tow if you stay there longer than one day. When I've talked to them about this parking problem, they just brush it off like they don't care. Saying, they are within their rights to tow for any reason. If you see a Hummer H2 in a guest spot, that's managment, yep... taking one of the guest's spots and forcing someone who pays rent to park a half mile away.

Definately! The place looks nice, but that's about it. The repair guy doesn't know anything. When our water heater went out, the stupid ----- from management came over to check our breakers. She turned them ALL OFF! I lost homework I was doing and had to reset all of my clocks. THANKS -----! The water heater was ON, it just wasn't heating water. The "maintenance" guy came over and did the same thing, then replied...well, I don't know anything about water heaters, so we'll have to call someone Monday (it was Friday!!). What kind of maintenance guy doesn't know how to maintain ----? As of October 1st, if you park in guest parking, you will be towed. My wife and I rent with my brother since we are all in school and trying to save money. We have three cars and only two spaces. WHERE ARE WE SUPPOSED TO PARK NOW! ---- the Villages. They are overpriced anyway. I can get a house for $200 more that has three bedrooms, a garage, a backyard and plenty of parking!!! Stay away. This place looks nice and that's all. ---- this apartment complex!

The parking is only a problem for people that rent one bedroom apartments, that have two cars...however, you are told that you only get one reserved space, so if you don't want an apartment with just one space, don't rent here.
