Open Door Policy

I am a currently a resident and reading the managers comment about an open door policy. My interpretation of that is, she welcomes confrontation with residents. She lacks the ability to respectfully communicate, accommodate and build trust with the residents. When she refers to enforcing policies that are expected of residents, that is her only defense. Folks, trust me, there is no such open door policy. Andrea, we the residents are able to read the contractual agreement that we signed, so, we do not need to utilize your "open door policy" to have you reiterate the policies. What the residents need is some form of accomodating, rather than a lecture about policies.
