West Wind is located in the older part of Roseville, close to gas stations and used car lots. The apartment complex itself is a haven from the busy streets around it. There are a lot of trees and greenery on the rather large lot. The atmosphere is pleasant.

The apartments themselves are aged and the rooms rather small. Lots of storage, with a pantry and linen closet and a small room that was probably a laundry room at one time (no hookups, but plenty of nearby laundry facilities at the complex). The managers are not available much of the time ("for emergencies, leave a voice mail"''). Parking can get tight as well, since there is no assigned parking. Covered spots are reserved for townhome residents only.

My biggest complaints are mostly about the surrounding areas. Right next door a car wash was recently built, and it is LOUD. The traffic on Cirby is awful. Turning left out of the complex is frightening, if not impossible.
