While not as showy and picturesque as some of the newer apartment complexes in Roseville, Windscape offers good amenities, well-constructed apartments, and a nice community atmosphere. My apartment was very quiet and my neighbors were pleasant and approachable. Management at this complex is excellent: very conscientious and professional. The maintenance and cleaning teams are usually good, but occasionally require follow-up. Apartment furnishings are a little dated, but of fairly good quality. When I moved out I had absolutely no problems getting my deposit back, and management were very fair with how much they deducted for cleaning, etc. So overall this is an excellent apartment complex.

Parking is the one exception. If you only have 1 car it is fine, but for 2 car families it can be a real headache. There are usually a few empty spaces at the front of the complex, but beware of petty car vandalism. To be fair to Windscape that is a problem throughout the greater Sacramento area. Also, while the apartment layouts are well thought out, the layout of the complex as a whole isn't the best.

Lastly, the broadband Internet access that is offered through Windscape (by a third party) is mediocre for heavy users. My connection would frequently die several times a day. On the plus side the price is pretty good, and it does reduce your need to interact with the incompetant Comcast rep who services the complex. As for spiders, I never had any bug problems, but I didn't live very close to the creek.
