A nice place to live if you are just starting out or a student at Sac State...

I had a very nice experience living at Alpine Terrace in Sacramento. It is right on the Sac State Green Hornet Shuttle line that will take you to and from Sac State. The maintenece man, David, is very nice and always willing to help you out. The manager, Robin, has taken measures to make sure that your stay there is a pleasant one. She is no bull ---- and gets things done right away. If you have a complaint about the neighbors, she will act upon it pronto. There are no frills at Alpine Terrace, but what you get is a decent place to live in beautiful and exciting Sacramento. Overall, the staff at Alpine Terrace was extremely helpful. However, there are too many gangter wannabes who drive through the complex with their black rap music playing. Also, there are some problems with annoying neighbors who insist on playing their DJ club music too loud or their soul music above your head as you try to sleep the night away on the futon that you bought from some futon store located near Arden Fair Mall. There are a lot of hot Sac State chics that live there, however, and sometimes you can hear them having sex with their boyfriends because the walls are so thin. Also, there was a late night skinny dipping session during the Summer months that would take place around midnight every Friday. There is also a crappy apartment complex located next to Alpine Terrace that has a lot of -------- living there, so that you can expect to be overwhelmed by the smell of beans cooking and latino music being played very loudly early in the morning. There is a Quik Stop that is located on the other side of the apartment. The rag heads that work there won't give you change for the laundry machines unless you buy something. Across the street is Famous Kabob; they also won't give you change for the laundry machine. Also across the street is Pizza Guys pizza. They have very good pizza there, and since you live so close to it, you can buy a large pepperoni pizza for 9.99 a free 2 liter Pepsi product of your chooosing if you pick it up. You can enjoy your pizza and pepsi in the Alpine Terrace apartment that you live in while watching KCRA news with Christina Mendonza. There is a Target store nearby as well as a 24 Hour Fitness where you can workout as long as you have the proper ID and aren't using your friend's card. There is also a Chevy's nearby where they will serve alcohol to anyone under 18 years of age. There is also the JJ Mugler Band buffet that you may go to in order to enjoy some food that has been sitting out under heat lamps for hours on end. There is also a sports bar next to the Rite Aid on Fulton Avenue where you can watch the --- San Francisco 49ers get their asses kicked every weekend during the NFL season. Overall, Alpine Terrace isn't bad for a single person or a student. The rent for a 1 bedroom is about $550. However, I wouldn't want to raise a family at this place. There was also this guy who would put on a clown mask that had pink hair and run around the apartment complex. He would often be waiting around corners as you walked from your car to your apartment just waiting and lurking in an attempt to jump out from behind a wall or a shrub just to scare the ---- out of you. So, if you move there, ask about Pennywise Jr. the clown, because you never know where he may be hiding. Also, on the weekends, they would have like a make-shift drive-in movie in the back of the apartment complex. They would show such movies as Back to the Future, Tron, Space Camp, and various other 80s movies during their "80s Weekend Drive-In".

Can you please take this comment off.I was very offended on what I read and I dont know anyone that is of a minority who wouldnt be offended by this message. This doesnt make me want to live at Alpine terrance and it just makes the apartment complex seem distasteful. It is a shame that a website such as apartmentratings would even let this message be posted. I am truly disgusted.
