Alpine Terrace Apartments

From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/1/2005 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005   Here's the good: 1. The apartments are well-kept. Maintenance is pretty good. Here's the bad: 1: Parking sucks. One space per apartment' And that includes 2 bedroomers. What the hell' And no visitor's parking either. They'll tow ya. 2: The street sucks. The complex is located near a lot of things- like the bus line, grocery store, etc., but Fulton's so busy all the time. There hasn't been one day where I haven't heard sirens wailing. And seen creepy people hanging around (outside the gate, waiting to get in the building- and I think they always get in sooner or later). Oh yeah, and it might just be Sacramento, but I get cat-called a whole lot. I'm a single girl so I make sure I'm not out alone at night on this damned street. 3. There have been several managerial changes since I've been here (a couple of months) and they're nice people but they keep saying they're gonna do stuff and... My name still isn't on the gate (so I can't let anyone in unless I actually walk all the way to the front and open the gate for them- or unless they become one of those creepy people who gets in anyway). 4. There's a pool here. Too bad I don't think anyone's been using it since forever. It's being "fixed" people. Riiiiiiight... I saw the "pool boy" the other day. Trust me, they don't look like they do in the movies. 5. The walls are thin. Midnight- I hear a baby crying. Woulda been scary... had I not heard it coming from behind the wall (ala the apartment behind mine). Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure I don't live alone at all... if I cared to listen, I'd probably hear everything coming from the mouths of the people next door.
