I lived at the amber grove for three years as well as my sister did for five years. When Lucy worked there, yes, she was barley in the office but we had no problems. There were not problems until they started getting new managers. There was a Russian woman there all of five months she turned off the hot water to the building. She stated to punish us! We had to call the police and when the police tried talked to the owners they hung up on them.

By the way, the attorney for amber grove is John Evilsizor the owner s daughter and his son owns part too.

They would never fix anything we had the tenant that lived up stairs every time he would flush toilet there sewage would come threw the ceiling.

We had no stove for two weeks, No heater for two weeks. We ended up having a contractor from my work and fix our problems. He also informed us that the gas wall heater they took out was not taken out properly and there could be a gas leak.

In addition, to the woman that made a comment about living there for a year and never hearing about anyone going thru a patio, I suggest you look into your complex. I was present both incident the first time a man fell thru the patio witch faces the pool. We were all at the pool when he walked out and went thru it. The other time was up front right next to the office a man was walking down the steps and the railing collapsed. He tumbled down the stairs and was in ICU for some time. The manager there now is the problem she knows exactly what everyone was doing there. She let the teenagers around there party in her house drink and she new who they were robbing. Than when management came down on her due to all the robberies she attempted to say she was robbed had a fence put around her unit and got a pit bull. Witch other tenants were asked to move because they had pits, Due to the fact there insurance dose not cover it. Funny!!

The manager there is not licensed you can look her up in the D.R.E also there maintenance men are not licenses contractor. They do not even have handy man licenses so what can the really fix.

In my opinion, anyone who has complained about Amber Grove and the people who work here have either been evicted or in the process of. People who have complained about the manager sound like they are very angry about something. Their complaints seem to be centered on the manager not paying enough attention to them. I have lived in this complex for over seven years. One thing i have noticed is that every manager that has worked here is very aware of their responsibilities, and personally, they have always come through for me. The current manager has always been very helpfull and has directed me in the right direction in tough times.I have read that some Ex-Tenants have complained about people falling through balconies. They forget to mention that the person who fell off a balconie when the railing broke was DRUNK and FIGHTING with another tenant on the balconie, at some point one of them through the other against the railing causing it to break. I know this is true because the person who fell off the balconie told me this! When it comes to maintenance, they have always been professional and on time. Last month, I had a pluming emergency on a sunday evening. I called the maintenance phone number and spoke to them, they were in my apartment fixing the problem no more than thirty minutes later! This sunday, 6/14/09, there was an electrical problem at the pool, a tenant called maintenance and within twenty or thirty minutes he was already here fixing the problem. I realy think people are very ignorant when it comes to assuming things and interpreting them as a fact. I feel sorry for some of these people who have complained about this place, however, i dont feel sorry for people who apparently have nothing better to do than complain about the place were they live in. IF IT'S SO BAD FOR YOU, MOVE OUT!!!

The place was great when Lucy was here? You are liar! People used to complain about Lucy's parties to the owners! She would have her driveway all the way back behind the 2 bedroom apartments full of cars. Gangsters and alcohol everywhere! I don't know about the Tammy lady. Sounds like you have a personal problem with Laura. You probably didn't like to follow the rules. Because I see Laura checkin people all of the time. You should get some counseling to help you with your anger problems MEANIE! Oh yea and the apartment that you live in is what you make it. I love my apartment because I decorated it cute and I keep it clean. I have pride in where I live.

Lady get a clue laura was the one that partied with the teenagers.You have only been there for a minute that place was great when tammy was there and then lucy I am sure you were not there for that. By the way I got all my deposit back beacuse I suied them they did not get the work done in the time allowed and could not prove any damage. So I got three times the amount because the judge told him he was so sick and tired of seeing him in there and always trying to with hold money.(the law allows if they with hold you can get up three times the amount) Look up the 200 pennding cases and over 300 they have lost for being slum lords. The only thing that came out great about that pleace is we bought a house instead of living in a ---- hole. No matter what they do that place will never be nice.
