I lived in American River Commons for a year, and for the most part, it was ok. The grounds are clean and the facilities are nice. However, my roomate's car got stolen once and broken into 3 times, and me and my other roomate kept having our clothes stolen out of the washing machines. We had a party last year, which wasn't big to begin with, and when the security came by to tell us to shut up, we kicked everyone out and went to bed. The morning after, we got THREE write-ups for the party, and they stated that we had been rude to the security staff because he had overheard someone we kicked out say the "F word", even though it didn't have anything to do with him or the party. When I went to go talk to management about it, the dumb blonde without any eyelids told me that if we had another noise complaint, we would be kicked out. I asked if a loud TV or alarm clock would count, and she said yes, adding that we wouldn't be notified or anything before getting the eviction notice.

By the way, this manager, named "--------" has given hell to everyone I know who lives in the complex. None of us are loud or disrespectful, but every time any of us go into the office to turn in a rent check, she gives attitude. The other two in the office are sweet and helpful though, so not all the management is bad.

Other than that, the place is ok. The rent is really cheap, and it's close to CSUS.

Your job is a joke, You have avoided me on many occasions, and you have accused me of things I did not do. Many people here agree with this review, and you are a horrible manager, nothing was ever done regarding my issues and your attitude needs some work. Also, your haircut needs help

Wow, I only just re-read this after posting it 3-4 years ago.. and this is my first time reading your comment after I posted about you. If you want to get into an argument regarding whether or not you gave me 3 write-ups over one disturbance, let me know when you'll be in your office, and I'll be glad to give you a call and discuss. It may have been 3 years ago, but I remember that horrible experience with detail. I don't know who the second commentator was, but he/she is pretty much echoing everyone else's sentiments. Mind you, I had FANTASTIC service from both of the other girls in the office. The girl sitting to the right when you walk in (Serena- I think her name was?), and the lady at the end by the window. Both were fantastic, and fully deserve 5 stars for their excellent enthusiasm and work ethic. You, however, were awful to me on that day when I went in to ask about the notice (WITHOUT attitude, mind you- I went in hoping to reduce the punishment.. I wasn't about to be abrasive), and carried that same sour disdain for me and both my roommates for the entirety of the time we lived there. It's been years, and I've lived in lots of places since- none of them have gotten a less than stellar review from me. There's a reason why all these reviews have turned out the way they are. You may still have your job, but everyone else on here doesn't seem to think you deserve it.
