You cannot make everyone happy when you live in such a large apartment community but I am one of the happy ones. I have lived here for four years and love it. It's not perfect, but no place is. What I like the most is how nice the staff is in the office and maintenance. Customer service speaks volumes. The people that work there seem to really enjoy it too.
When someone feels they need to write something nasty to a place like this for all to read should realize that maybe they should take more responsibilty for themselves and stop pointing fingers at others. If you don't have something nice to say, keep your fingers off the keyboard and your mouth shut.

Some people have higher standards of living than others.. 79% say live somewhere else .. there is a reason. This is a review site which allows for the people to force business's to act in good conscious and not take advantage of people like American River Commons does. We as consumers must step up and demand quality. Move around to other places and you will see the difference =) cheers that you can enjoy living there though. It must take a lot of heart haha.

I agree with Reedy2020. There are lots of things to like about ARC- the beautiful pool, the serene walkways, etc... and some of the reviewers have mentioned this. However, on a site such as this, people particularly need to voice their bad experiences (for example, the plethora of reviewers who have had their car broken into. This is a very serious matter and one that needs to be considered when moving into a new place) so that others who choose to live here can be aware and make an informed decision. I understand that you would want to boost the rating of a place that you have found so amiable, but the purpose of a review site is to help others- good comments or bad. Telling others to stay off the site if they have negative things to say is like telling constituents to stop reading the papers and to stop protesting and writing letters to their statesmen if they don't like what's going on in their city. Being critical is the way things get done- particularly in a business atmosphere, which is exactly what an apartment complex is- a business. Like Reedy, I'm glad you've had such an excellent experience at ARC. It's a huge complex, and unfortunately, most of the happy tenants do not find the need to write a review to help balance all the negative ones on here.
