I've lived at Amherst Place for over two years now. Currently, the management is EXCELLENT, yet I had a bad encounter with previous management involving maintenance enter my apartment and then not telling me. Currently, there are some serious crime/vandalism issues involving kids from the low-income housing down the street. Video cameras and extra security are being used to combat the problem.
Overall, I would recommend Amherst Apartments. The facilities are very well kept, apartments are relatively spacious, and the rent is reasonable.
