Ashford Park

I lived at the Ashford Park Apts for about 5 years. Back in December of 2006, I was CarJacked at Gunpoint by 4 men right in my duplex driveway. Mind you, this is a gated complex that supposedly has security patroling the area. Well, little did I know that there has been numerous crime consisting of theft, stolen vehicles, with the worst incident being carjacking. I was involved at Gunpoint not knowing that a similar incident had occured only about 3 weeks before my incident. The staff and management failed to inform their tenants of such a crime had existed. Had I known, I would not have been a victim of this brutal crime in which I suffered from. Issues such as poor lighting, untrimmed scrub and trees, lack of security when security was hired to patrol the premises as said by staff and management all contributed to the unsafe wellbeing of their tenants. The staff and Management both ignored tenant issues and did not address to where safety was not an issue at Ashford Park Apts. Despite the fact of being terrorized at gunpoint in my own front yard still led me to believe that the staff and management would do nothing but be sympathetic and accomodating to my unforeseen event...........NOT....hense why I no longer reside there. Tenants at Ashford Park Apts mean nothing to the staff and Management there. I since have been tramatized to the point where FEAR stays with me when FEAR was never around.
