It was recommend the I move to Atrium Court Apts, because they participate in the BOND program a federally funded program for low income families, section 8, elderly and the like. It was 2005 I was showen a vacant unit near the office. I was told there is a waitlist, and for a garage it would be 150.00 extra per month. The gentelman at the time which was under a different management, was so eager to get me in. So I told him I'll wait, and get back to him in a couple of weeks. In a couple of weeks, I came back completed the application he then told me to leave the income portion blank, then advised that the extra garage would be $175.00 per month. I was a bit leary although very excited to get the apartment. So application completed. Received a call in exactally 7 days. I got the apt. Was explained to me, based on my income that I had qualified for 60 percent. and my rent was over $900.00 per month. But when I was disputing with the manager that the maximum rent rate listed in the For Rent book it was what I was paying. Of course in desperation. I took the apart. 6months pass, the blind started to fall, bathroom towel rack, kept falling off,the master bedroom windows spring broke, I tell you it was a disaster. Then change in property management, and continuous turn overs, falsifying inforamtion to make tenant qualify. In final analysis, there are unsupervised childern, drug activity, SWAT team, Sacramento police patrol at least every day, traffic, and they are quick to evict tenants. (GO TO SACCOURTS.COM AND SEARCH UNLAWFUL DETAINERS RE: ATRIUM COURT).I believe truely that once the tenants are in and hence it is a "federally" funded affordable housing it seems that when the tenants are in at least 6 months, they try to evict tenants for any and everything. PLEASE BE AWARE, IF THEY SAY YOU ARE ON THE WAITLIST....AND THERE IS NO VACANCIES, PLEASE BELIEVE THAT THEY DON'T WANT YOU THERE. JUST DRIVE TRHOUGH THE COMPLEX YOU WILL SEE ALOT OF EMPTY UNITS. I've heard it, and seen it. It is a way to weed "certain" class of people.- If you plan on living there, please do your homework. Please be advised you should set up a survallience camera because the maintance man, always find something wrong in your unit, and will enter your unit when you are away.

thank you for sharing because we went there and I have never felt so degraded before when trying to rent an apartment. The young blond is a snob and really makes people feel like she is better than them. Oh and the management will always back up her workers, even if they are wrong. Very snobby and uptight behavior my family and I experienced. As far as them always trying to evict, I believe you. I have seen how they abuse their power in the office and I am sure it goes further than that. Thank you John Anderson
