I DONT HAVE MANY COMPLAINS ABOUT LIVING THERE, WHEN I NEEDED SOMETHING FIXED THEY WERE THERE THAT DAY OR THE NEXT. I MOVED OUT THE MIDDLE OF FEBRUARY AND AFTER CLEANING MY APARTMENT (7 MONTHS PREGNANT) FOR 6 HRS THE MORNING I TURNED MY KEYS IN, AND MAY I ADD I EVEN REPLACED THOSE STUIPED METEL STOVE COVERS ON THE STOVE AND HAD THE OVEN ON SELF CLEAN , WHILE WASHING WALLS AND SPOT CLEANING THE CARPET W/ RESOLVE. THEY NOT ONLY, DIDN'T REFUND ME MY DEPOSIT ($400.00) BUT CHARGED ME AN ADDIONAL $116.54 FOR ITEMS THEY "REPAIRED" WHILE I LIVED THERE. THE FLOOR WAS LIFTING IN SEVERAL SPOTS AND THEY JUST TAPED IT BACK DOWN. BUT NOW THAT I MOVED THEY FEEL IT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED CHARGING ME 248.10 TO DO SO. ALSO APPARENTLY I DID A CRAPY JOB WASHING WALLS AND CARPET CAUSE THEY ARE CLAIMING THEY HAD TO DO A HEAVY CLEANING.

well sounds like you're right.. you did a crap job. and they are in the right for charging you for the floor. Tape it down? how about writing your work order down for it to get fixed. duh

They kept her $400 deposit. That should have covered cleaning and typical wear and tear. Someone may be making money on the side. Sounds suspicious.

hihobeast proves my point....their young and immature office staff with BARELY a HS diploma using words like "duh" to rebuttle a tenant's complaints while disguising themselves at ligitmate renters....LOL.
