The rent is fairly low for the area, but the quality of your fellow tenants is pretty low. When I first moved in it seemed nice and I was told it was a very safe area with a lot of nice people, and that the noise level was strictly enforced. Shortly after moving in I realized I had made a mistake. The tenants below me constantly fought, and I could hear their vulgar battles and breakages as if they were in the room with me. The people on one side of me constantly played music at ungodly hours, and it was the type of music that would make anyone cringe if it permeated their wall. I called twice on them and it still continued so I gave up.
Another group of tenants near me seemed to have every shady character imaginable over to visit and/or live with them. On many occasions I was afraid to leave my apartment for fear I would have something happen to me as I walked to my car or something would happen to my apartment when they saw me drive away. I was also afraid for my safety as I arrived home at night as they would be in front of the apartment and often times blocking my access to the stairs. When I called security on them once after I heard one or more shouting that they were going to kill someone, I was told that the security office was at least 45 minutes away and they would dispatch someone but it would take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour. They told me to call the police, whom I knew would take just as long and whom I was not paying toward their protection of my community. Also, I found that most of the security people seemed to befriend the very people who caused the most problems, not too reliable I guess.
The people in the office are very nice, and helpful. Too bad the neighbors are not.
This community is gated, however, the front gate is often open anyway because someone has broken it, or people wait and watch for you to go in and follow you.
The apartments themselves are ok, not luxury but not unmaintained either. The bedroom in the one bedroom is huge, and the living room is also a very good size. The walls are pretty much paper thin though, which I have found in a lot of older apartment buildings. Thus, if you want sleep past about 8:00 a.m. on the weekends or even weekdays, I would suggest finding another place. There are lots of early rising children and tenants.
There are laundry facilities and some units have washer/dryer for about $50 a month extra.
If you don't mind living among some questionable characters, then this is the place for you. I would not recommend this complex to a single young lady.

i agree i live there and iv been robbed many times. there are many gruops of people walking around with guns selling drugs and much more the area needs to be cleaned up
