I just want to know if they accept low income people. I don't mind if they do but, I was told they don't and someone told me they do.
I respect everyone's income and freedom to live wherever you want. I just wondered if they were honest with their answer.

Thanks a million, Janine x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk

Hi there Janine. I work at the corporate office that manages Capitol Place. Thank you for your question. We do not accept low income like section 42 or section 8 at Capitol Place. Although Yolo county requires all apartments to have a certain % of set aside apartments that the applicants must make below a set amount, they are called income guidelines and not low income because they still need to make at least $30,000/year. The state sets this limit and allows those who are getting on there feet or working a minimum wage job to make ends meet live at a nice place. It is a great program that many county's offer. In response to the person above who said they are all "students," students do not qualify for this program. You must be working a full time job. The wonderful residents that live in these set aside apartments are so grateful to live in a nice place and be able to afford there rent and do not "trash" there apartment because they would like to continue to reside there. I hope this clears up any confusion. We look forward to you living at Capitol Place.
