This apartment complex is NOT a SAFE place to live. The leasing office staff is the rudest staff I have ever encoutered in my experience of renting apartments. I haven't had too much problem with the manager, but the staff there are just horrible and extremely difficult. The maintenance staff actually is great and very friendly! The leasing office staff should learn from the maintenance staff about how to interact with their residents. One of the previous reviewers mentioned the car busted event. I can tell you that I also heard about this incident from one security guard. As to the gate issue that was also mentioned by other reviewers, I can confirm that what they said is all true--the gate remains open 24 hours. The leasing office staff has kept the fact from prospective tenants that the gate has not been closed for a long time and in fact, they continue to advertise that it's a gated community and that the gate will be closed when the office is closed. Also, my another suggestion for you--read the lease carefully and ask them to put the gate operation hours in your lease if security is of your priority. Otherwise, they will tell you that they are not required to have the gate closed even though it's a gated community.
