They will take your entire security deposit if you let them.

Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008
I lived in this apartment building for a year and a month. The manager when we moved in was really nice while performing the walk-through, assuring us that as long as we cleaned the apartment when we left we'd get our $900 security deposits back.
This does not seem to be the case. In the pre-move-out walk-through inspection they were going to charge us nearly $500 for a full paint, $70 for blind treatment, and another nearly $500 for full carpet replacement. We were told by the NEW manager that full paint and blinds are in the lease and they charge the fees 'regardless of whether the unit needs it or not'. We wrote letters and threatened legal counsel (which I'm still getting by the way). This resulted in an assurance that as long as the premises was 'as clean as it was when we moved in' we'd get our deposit back.
We cleaned our apartment every single week during our residency. After we moved all our possessions out of the apartment, we spent over 10 hours cleaning the apartment behind us. During the walk-through, the NEW manager may as well have been going through with a white glove. We have charges for A piece of dust or lint in a drawer (which had already been wiped thoroughly). $5 charges for almost everything in the house. They are also charging $15 to have the kitchen floor waxed even though this obviously needs to be done every year and is normal wear and tear. They are charging a $40 pet fee because the manager said that every person with a pet is charged this 'regardless of whether the unit needs it or not'. Which is a non-refundable deposit and is illegal! Our total charges come to $388 for a very very very clean apartment. So don't live here unless you expect to pay at least that!
Now I can't get a hold of the regional manager or the property management company despite multiple phone calls.
Now I will say that the apartments are extremely nice inside! That being said, they are also poorly insulated from both sound and heat. The electric bills for the summer were outrageous. We could hear the child upstairs just simply talking through the vent in our bedroom. We didn't complain because it is just an apartment complex, but you better believe we got multiple noise complaints (which come in the form of a very scary eviction notice) whenever we woke the child up with very minimal noise.
Also you only get one parking space for a two bedroom apartment and there are very limited 'free spaces'. If you get home too late, then you're out of luck and have to park outside of the gates (that sometimes don't work).
