They are like the night stalkers, you never know what they are truly like until they have you in their lair. First everything is so clean and friendly, but just try to move at the end of the lease when you have always been a model tenant and they will strike. You WILL be charged the full price for paint and carpet no matter what you do. My son never walked on the floors with shoes and still they wanted to replace the carpet. I was never, according to state law, given my pre-walk through and according to state law they can only charge what is excessive filth and dirt. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM UNLESS YOU HAVE AN ATTORNEY ON RETAINER!!!!!!!!!!!!
OH AND THEY LOVE TO TARGET WYOTECH STUDENTS AND SAC STATE STUDENTS. THEY OFFER YOU DISCOUNTS THEN TAKE IT OUT WHEN THEY SUE YOU FOR DAMAGES. I WON BUT ONLY AFTER NUMEROUS LEGAL CONSULTATIONS.....BEWARE!!!!

I completely agree! The new manager even said to me verbatim, "We always charge for a full paint regardless of whether the unit needs it or not." She later backpedaled, but it had already been said. They also do all the painting in-house, which means they can charge whatever they want for it. Ours was nearly $500 for a two bedroom, when the manager at my new apartment showed me a outside professional painter's charge for a two bed here that was only $238. We ended up only paying for a 'touch-up', but that was still $125. We had cleaned EVERY mark from the walls and baseboards with a magic eraser. We were also charged $5 here and there over the entire apartment for 'cleaning fees'. These were ridiculous charges, as the place was practically spotless! Really! don't rent here unless you want a legal battle or are willing to fork over $1000 at the end of your stay (no matter how long that is). Also the Property Management Company won't even return your phone calls, so there's really no help out there.
