I have to agree with some of the negativity that s on here. Originally when we were moved here everything looked ok and we felt like we were really moving to a place with better security and living in a more top of the line apartment. I had no problems paying the amount of rent that it was because I figured we had security and live in a gated community. Being there now a year man how I wish I would have known the major issues of living at this place would be. Here are some issues if you are seeking to move here that you might want to consider. PARKING!!!---It is completely difficult to find an open space to park and rather embarrassing when you have guests over that cant find a spot to park because your neighbor who owns 3 vehicles has taken up the OPEN spots and has left nothing for the people who really need these spots. There is a couple that are neighbors and they own three vehicles. You constantly see a towing sticker placed on their car; they then just move it to another open spot. It gets very tiring and aggravating. It s like people play some kind of car war, no joke. You also have the people who can not find an open spot to park, park in your ASSIGNED parking spot. Then you have no place to park. Another issue: THE BAR ACROSS THE STREET!---Beware of ending up anywhere close to the bar. The fights there get very violent and the cops are called out there on a weekly basis, it has been so bad at times that the cops actually get out of their cars with riffles. As for the security guard, I m never sure where he is at, I never see him and is nowhere to be found, also there has been a couple of times I tried to call security but no one answered. This is what ticked me off the most Where is that secure feeling that I m paying for' You constantly see people throwing loud parties and working on their cars outside. The community starts looking very ghetto with this kind of trash that is going on. We have seen people using the pool who walk to the pool, who don t even live here at Capitol Place. Another issue is Management---its constantly changing here and quite frankly the staffs here are very rude.
Believe me, I too was once doing the same thing you are doing looking at the reviews here, I didn t want to believe it but had to learn the hard way that everything negative people were saying on here wasn t true. FYI---Before we moved here we talked to the management about all the negative reviews we had seen on here. Here response was you can t believe what people type on there People are always looking to only comment on the negative . We were stupid to not have realized that she was lying. BEWARE of moving here and search out other apartments before moving here We do not recommend living here ..We are breaking our lease here and moving somewhere else
