Cottage Bay is a cozy complex. Some things need updating, but its good for the cost of rent. Area is not too bad, just keep all doors locked and leave no valuables in your car. Its gated, but people can still get in. Pets are allowed, and its close to Howe park which is very pretty and has a dog run. All in all we are happy here and staying til we can buy a house.

I have lived at cottage bay for 2 years and never once have I felt threatened or had anything taken, this is a very safe and quiet enviornment to dwell in. I love the fact that I can walk around at night and feel safe... the twentyfour hour laundry rooms are a convience to all tendents, as at every building which there are four, there is a laundry room and a pool for that building (no need to share with all the community)...As for the tendents which live here there has never been any disturbance,that has not been taken care of.. hello this is america lock up your things if you park on ths street,I mean do you leave your windows and doors unlocked, this is a very safe place, however be wise even in gated communities, with human beings where there is an opportunity it will happen, come on?? I love how quite and peaceful the complex is, I waited two years to get an apartment here, the staff and maintence are always accomidating and pleasent not to add that always without question the problems are always fixed and attended to..I find cottagebay always changing, updating and a five star in my eyes.... I intend on staying here for quite sometime...I also have family here who have been on site for 10 years, zero problems.. sincerely a very happy tendent( Thanks for the opportunity to live here)
