Good place to live

Let me start off by responding to everyone who is bitching about being able to hear their neighbors ... HI, you live in an APARTMENT! As for the mold issues, try cleaning, it works very well!
Now on to the apartment. I have lived here about 8 months and I love it. The apartments are HUGE and when I see what my friends are paying for their tiny places it just makes me happier that I live here.
My nieghbors have been great. Everyone is really quite and people don't mind coming to you if there is a problem instead of running to management. There are children here, but unless you see them you wouldn't know it. Children are always accompanied by their parents and I have never seen or heard a party, loud music, etc.
The only problem I had to go to management for was when my heater was acting up and they sent someone up that day and fixed it and it's been great ever since.
On the flip side these are older apartments and they tend to be a little drafty, but the cost of heating still doesn't compare to what they are charging for new places in natomas.
The grounds are well kept and crews are here a couple mornings a week. I almost never hear sirens going to the hospital and because I live in the back of the complex I don't hear any of the traffic from Watt.
Overall these apartments are a really nice place to live, but before you rent anywhere use common sense. If you don't like traffic, don't have an apartment facing Watt, if you can't deal without double pained windows, go pay double for half the square feet. If you want a nice, quiet, well kept community full of good poeple, move in here.
