I wrote a nice review about Crossing at Riverlake apartment two years ago when I had nothing but high praises for the place as well as its staff. Ive been living in the apartment for more than three years now and since my last review in 2007, I feel that the quality of the management. When Sylvia was still manager and Cynthia was still assistant manager (we miss them badly!), Crossing was run a like a well-oiled machine. Now with a new manager, the running of the complex is simply getting bad. Even her assistant is doing a poor job in helping run the complex. Not only are the current manager and her assistant inefficient, they treat residents like sources of income, not as friends as Sylvia and Cynthia did. The maintenance guys however are still tops in their trade (hard-working, honest, and friendly) but I hope they do not get demoralized under poor leadership. Attention RKProp: if you want to save Crossing at Riverlake, you may want to consider replacing the management office with better people. If you wish, why not conduct a survey among us residents about our views on the management, Youll be surprised how we love the apartment but are disappointed (maybe even disgusted) with the management. I know of certain residents who became our friends who wanted to stay and renew their lease but did not feel happy with the management so they decided to move to nearby Landing Apartment and I heard of another to Ashford! Can you believe that! They moved just because they couldnt stand Management' We still believe that Crossings is a nice place to live in and wouldnt want it to fail. But we believe also that changing the people running management will restore Crossing to its former success!
