Delta Pointe is by far the worst place I have ever lived. They change management weekly and they will NOT repair anything. Parking is a nightmare, drugs and crime abound and one woman was taken from her apartment, at gunpoint by a stranger, taken to her bank (after the required rape, of course) and forced to remove all her money. An elderly gentleman out for an afternoon walk: robbed at gunpoint right in front of our garage. Delta Pointe saw fit NOT to warn the residents...we found out by word of mouth. I told their corporate office what was happening and they did' EXACTLY NOTHING! If you value you family's safety....Keep looking, their 'deals' are not deals.

I currently live in Delta Pointe. Been here almost a year. There is a ghetto element amongst us because CTL management allows ten percent of the residents to be section 8 income. My biggest gripe is inconsideration of other residents, especially among people of color. They somehow feel entitled to play their crap music at high volumes with the bass turned up so loud it makes your head and ears ache. They do this after 6:00 p.m. when management and security leave the premises. Also, don't be surprised to find someone parking in your driveway or across the cement walk path. During office hours, people are behaving nicely. The jerk next door has loud parties on Saturday nights. He belches constantly and invites his homies over for a night of drinking. The walls are paper thin with no insulation. You can hear people upstairs and downstairs opening doors, washing their clothes, and taking showers. It's annoying! The rent is under a thousand per month which includes a standard size one car garage. Entrance to Discovery Park is less than a mile away if you like to bicycle or walk. Most of the problems are caused by visitors to the complex. Not to mention a large amount of homeless people coming from the Park enroute to the Bel Air grocery store and Taco Bell right around the corner. In all fairness. I've never had a problem outdoors with people asking for money in the complex or showing aggression toward me. I'm over 40, single, and looking to buy a home or move in the next six months.

I think it is very small-minded to list someone???s ethnicity when talking about a disturbance or nuisance. I lived at Delta Pointe for almost 2 years and noticed that the problems seemed to be of a social-economic background, not of any particular race. There are several areas of concern: debris, noise, parking, old appliances, mildew, rodents, and crime (including rape). This is due to POOR and inexperienced management. The guy at corporate in charge of these apartments is a poor excuse for a manager. I just make sure to share my horror story with anyone considering moving in the area so they don???t end up at Delta Pointe.

To the "1/11/2009 Anonymous" that comments as though they are from a 3rd world country, I am 23 year old black, and you've probably see me on the way to work everyday and assumed otherwise (dope dealer, borriwing my parents car...whatever). The lack of education leads to narrow minded thinking and chaos. For the sake of YOUR heritage, learn some grammatically correct English and use spell check! I can't stand living here myself, but it's a decisions I made...you get what you pay for. Do some research next time before committing to an uncomfortable living arrangement. After all, you researched how to get your damn green card!!!
