I am currently living with a resident at Delta Pointe Apts. I am trying to get my name on the lease, but there was a descrepancy on my credit report regarding a past due utility bill. I called the utility co and found out that the account doesnt belong to me and I should contact the credit report agency regarding this matter. Initially I was told that I needed to go pay the past due bill and get a receipt stating that I have 0 balance on the account. This situation prompted me to check my credit reports. I needed to anyway because I haven't been monitoring it at all. So I was told by management that I needed to clear that up. I got on the phones and started making calls. Come to find out the bill is under a different social than mine and that I needed to dispute the item on the report with experian. I informed the office of the situation and they said its not showing up on our Onsite credit(mind you the credit check system they use gets their info from experian)check system and that I needed a letter from the utility company stating I have a 0 balance. Well I was unable to obtain a letter because the closed accounts billing office does not fax or mail out letters and if they did I wouldn't be able to get one because it is a closed account. So I let DP know about the situation. I even got an updated credit report from experian w/o the utility bill on there and they would not take it. As I said before pg&e won't fax or mail letter so Im stuck because the way the managers Albert and Terry explained it is that they wouldn't except my copy of the credit report to verify that I dont owe pg&e on the company's letterhead before they will approve and put me on the lease. The manager Albert is very rude when talking on the phone and he's a coward because a lot of the issues that he brought up with my roommate could have been communicated in a neighborly manner. Oh I forgot to mention that Albert moved downstairs from us to a bigger apt(3 bdr) but he is the only one there except for the dog and the cat he has. To end this long story. i cant get the info needed for the on site manager to approve me and have gone over their head and contacted the ctl management office in my area to see if i get better results...please dont move here. The other manager Terry is pretty nice so far and my roommate had nothing but good things to say about her but that damn Albert is rude and he seems to be knitpicking on me and my roommate since he has moved downstairs. Even before he was completely moved in he was putting notices on our door about all the rules we were not following. No hi, hello or nothing. Just straight harrassment since he has been there. he has a serious case of bitchassness.

Dear dtaj916, Sorry about your difficulty moving into DP. We have been there for a few years and outside of a patio balcony replacement, there isn't anything special about living there. We're already planning to move out of state next year, but even if it wasn't out of state; we're still moving at the end of this lease.
