When I first moved in I felt safe. The community was nice and there was a lot of families with children. Six months after I moved in I started to notice that the quality of the people moving in was unsatisfactory. At that time there was still quite a few families. A year later the whole apartment complex changed. The families moved out and the ghetto moved in. I had men staring at me as I walked alone to my apartment. I had people trying to open my door at night and kids fighting on the stairs. I had to call the cops at one point because I couldn't even leave my apartment for fear of being attacked. There are also people on the side street that fight and yell and shoot at each other. The last straw for me was when my boyfriend came to pick me up to go out and three ghetto boys were on the stair way blocking our passage. They reluctantly got up, but were talking behind our backs. When we got back to the apartment later that night, there was pizza smeared all over our door, in the lock and on the door handle. They left the pizza box and all of the garbage on our door step. We called the management, but they didn't do anything. I didn't even get a call back. I am moving because I am afraid of being attacked here....raped....or shot.
