This apartment complex has a great gym and pool, and the grounds are kept up nicely. If this is all that you are looking for in a home, Fairlake is for you.

However, here a couple of things that I experienced while living there that might make you reconsider:
1. I was lied to by the staff on about 3-4 different occassions. This had an affect on both my peace of mind and my finances.
2. My cars were broken into a total of 4 times in a 12 month period.
3. My neighbors were very inconsiderate with noise. Fairlake didn't do much to resolve the problem. I had to deal with it on my own.
4. I did not get back what I fairly deserved on my deposit (lost about $250 in excess of what was supposed to be taken out)
5. Many work-orders that I placed were not properly done the 1st time around.
6. Its gotten a little better, but there are loud parties/voices late at night.

There are some things that are to be expected when living in an apartment. For example, you will definitely here people around you. This can be annoying, but it is apartment life.
However, we had to tolerate soo much more. We had neigbors that would blast their stereos and just be excessively loud in general (even late at night when people need to sleep in order to work the next morning).
The bottome line is we HATED living there. We do not recommend it to any decent, respectful adult.
