Fairlake is by far the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. They make big promises on what they will do for you. When my roomates and I moved in we were told that our apartment would be receiving "upgrades" PSH! When we called the office regarding some maintenance issues we were having, we mentioned the "upgrades" and were told very rudely, "We don't do upgrades." Uhm, it was written on our move in checklist, but apparently things that are put in writing by Fairlake's management are just as lousy as their word. There is no standard for cleanliness, customer service or maintenance at Fairlake. Please don't even get me started on the so called gated community. I don't know how many times I went to throw out my garbage and have to wait for the dumpster divers to exit before I could toss my garbage bag in. A few months before we were blessed with leaving this hell hole, our meth head drug dealer tried breaking into our apartment. We were lucky enough to get out before anything bad happened. While we were living there we received a notice from management about a violent incident that happened on the apartment grounds, and "tips" on remaining safe. Maybe Fairlake should focus more on keeping the standard of tenants and the upkeep of the facility rather than constantly avoiding their tenants and being overall shady. Who knows they might actually get some good reviews on this site if that was the case. I am more than happy to say that I don't live at Fairlake anymore, and I will be sure to tell everyone I know, and everyone I can to NEVER EVER even consider living there.
