Terrible place! I've lived here for about a year now and have been counting the days since month 2 for my lease to be up. The walls are paper thin, I can hear all of my neighbors conversations, including the section 8 family that lives down stairs that is constantly fighting and hitting the crap out of the walls. I wake up to a girl that is singing at the top of her lungs every morning. During the walk through, we pointed out MANY things that were wrong with the apartment including the floor caving into the bathtub which smelled terribly of mold. After over 10 visits to the office and written up statements, they finally came and fixed the floor after 8 months and let us know that there is a leak in the bathtub. And now it all starts again, they fixed the floor, but not the tub. The Sliding door is hell to get open and closed and all the faucets in the apartment leak. The so called "gated" community is a joke, the front gate is open 90 percent of the time. The back gate doesn't work at all. The management is ridiculous, they keep saying that they will fix the apartment, and it never happens. They banned BBQ sets recently, but people who work for the complex can still have them. We were told that the WSG was going to be about 30-40 a month, but it is about 90-100. There are always people in the trash cans digging for cans and cars getting broken into. About the laundry rooms; Half the time they don't work at all, other times residents don't get their clothes on time and you are left to do nothing but wait. Also, the Sprinklers are facing every way except the grass. Basically, it comes down to, this is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. And as I sit here writting this, I can feel the bass of downstairs neighbor, it shakes the entire apartment, and if we call security, all they do it note that I called. DON'T MOVE TO FAIRLAKE!'

we have had repeated leaks in our bathroom as well, haven't had problems with the floor caving in but then again I am on a downstairs unit. We have had leaks from the upstairs unit on a few occasions. We have one that is an occassional leak in the kitchen, it is obvious that it has been leaking but the maintnance guy can't find it and the cieling where the leak is still has not been fixed from that. Nor has the cieling in my entry way from a year ago. That took a few months for them to get fixed as well. As far as the people playing their music too loud, call the sherrif. The people will get a warning the first time, then if they come out more than the one time in the same night, they hand out a ticket and then arrest them if it continues on the same night. I have not used the security since it changed over the first time, that was 3.5 years ago. If I was not such a broke ass college student I would move myself.

I had the same problems with maintenance! My bathtub wasn't hooked up right and it drained into my front closet! It took them weeks to come and fix it and they never replaced the wall in the closet. Good luck getting your deposit back when you move out. It took 4 months for me to get mine and I had to call once a week to "remind" them. FAIRLAKE IS A JOKE!
