Fairlake Apartments sell you into the property, and then decide that they want to rip you off. When I first inquired about the apartments I was not advised that we needed to pay water garbage and sewer, and that it is not based on your water usage but the apartments usage as a whole. Andrea who is the Apartment manager is very unprofessional, and does not address your concerns. I never had a problem with the apartments until I placed a 60 day notice to vacate. As soon as I did that I was fined $240.00 yes this is true. I was fined for my son leaving one flip flop outside of my front door, my tire went on flat in the middle of the night and when I woke up they fined me for a flat tire that I did not know about, etc. This place is a joke, the gate is always broke, my aunt's car was stolen, we had someone still my son's bike off our patio. Good Luck you will see what I mean after you move in for a while!!!

This is hilarious. Im not defending the complex, but anyone with half a brain can see that this person is venting. They cant charge you $240 for that. Why dont you just fess up that they made you mad with a notice...obviously your balance is stemming from something else?!

Its very true. I've lived here as well and I was fined $200 for leaving a rug and 2 towels out to drive on my deck during the summer. About the utilities, the same thing happened to us. We asked the leasing agent about how much a month & she told us between $30-40/month
