In July new tenants moved into an apartment near mine. Talking to them, I've learned that she's a weekend drunk who takes care of nursing home patients and he's been arrested for armed robbery. He is also a small-time bookie and a former goon who beats up people for a laborers union which is being investigated by the FBI. One of their best friends is a registered sex offender. Nice neighbors, no' You'd think management would screen their tenants a little better than this. Or maybe they're just looking to rent the apartment no matter what.
